RoofScanIR consists of 10 planes, some infrared sensors and some analytical tools that can identify damaged roofs. "The infrared imagery can identify differences in moisture-contaminated roof substrates and differences in coatings."
The company sells its services (based across the US) to fly areas of interest in the U.S. and Canada, to roofing contractors and others so they can target new clients. Images are fused into a single IR mosaic for delivery and cost is base on distance from the target area and resolution (and I hope the size of the area to be flown, though that's not noted in the press release).
I do wonder if they'll do better than all those companies that wanted to do aerial imagery for agriculture...
